Slint is a slowpunk band (I have no idea how to classify them) from Kentucky and I really love them. They have currently released two full-lengths and one EP. I like their album Spiderland the best. This album has soft and harsh moments, but the softer moments are what make it one of my favorite albums. This is a PERFECT album to sleep to, especially the song "Washer." More infohere. Stand-out track: Washer (one of my favorite songs ever).
