Maurice Ravel - Complete Piano Music

Maurice Ravel was a French impressionist composer. He lived most of his life in seclusion in lavish houses, creating his exotic music. His sexuality is not known, as he was never married, and Ravel was only 5 feet tall. His music is AMAZING, and I love every single second of every work.

The file was so large I had to split it into two parts. The first part includes the following:

- Gaspard de la Nuit, 3 parts
- Sonatine, 3 parts
- Miroirs, 5 parts
- Sérénade grotesse
- A la manière de... Borodine
- A la manière de...Emanuel Charbier
- Prélude
- Jeux d'eaux
- Pavane Pour Une Infante défunte
- Menue sur le nom de Haydn

And the second part includes all 6 Le Tombeau de Couperin.

  1. Thanks.
Check these out, these are Nachtreich's releases so far.

Those are three songs quite dinamic, dominated by string instruments.

And on the other hand you have this

A more ambient-like album, with a more predominant use of the piano, yet the viola is present.

I almost forgot to mention that those two albums have as a background and 'punch' adder some black metal riffing and drums, but really pulled off to the background.
And last but not least (actually it's my favourite song so far) you have the red autumn.

In this one the bm background has been completely removed, it's a brilliant piece for piano and viola with other stringy accompaniment.

  2. Adore Ravel. A master of the Orchestra. Have you tried an Ennio Morricone soundtrack? You might enjoy "The Maestro".
