Duran Duran Duran - Very Pleasure

2005; 10 tracks

Formed in 1999 and based in Philadelphia, Duran Duran Duran is the solo breakcore project of Ed Flis. Very Pleasure was his first album under this name, but he's been making electronic music since as early as 1995 and has been active in various hardcore/punk bands.

This is one of the finest and most intense breakcore/noise albums I've ever heard. Darkness and perversion permeate every corner of this genius' artistic output, but it never gets old. He's just very good at what he does.

CDR - CDR on CRD

2008; 14 tracks

CDR is Japanese breakcore/electronic artist Hikaru Tsunematsu, who is sometimes called a "madman." It's not often you'll hear something this fast-paced and strange.

DJ /rupture - Uproot

2008; 23 tracks

DJ /rupture is New York-based electronic/breakcore artist Jace Clayton. Uproot is a very diverse mix album, combining dubstep, classical, reggae, and other urban dance genres. The tracks flow seamlessly as the album progresses, with a few gentler tunes to complement the intensity of the others.

Atari Teenage Riot - Delete Yourself!

1995; 12 tracks

My friend told me about Atari Teenage Riot today and I didn't think anything of it - I actually thought it was like a Japanese punk band or something. But I got this album and found it to be very well put-together and highly enjoyable.

Atari Teenage Riot is a "digital hardcore"/punk-inspired breakcore from Berlin, formed in 1992. They remind me of a mix of Blood Freak, Venetian Snares, Rancid... maybe even Katharsis. There is plenty of amazing breakbeats, power electronics, funny samples, cute female vocals, punk male vocals, fast-paced punk riffs, and more... This is just a really fucking cool album that I think I'm addicted to now. w00t for anarchy.

I would die for peanut butter.

Doddodo - Donomichi Doddodo

2006; 15 tracks

Namin Haku. Japanese electronic artist. Gorgeous. This album combines many different things, such as "Irish folk music" with 80s hip-hop/disco/dance, as well as breakcore, harsh noise, metal, chiptune, etc. It's just an amazing work of electronic, experimental art and I really enjoyed it.
